Little Creek Ranch

ball goat estled in the rolling hills of Fannin County, Texas, surrounded by cattlemen, Little Creek Ranch is an enclave producing quality goats. Boer herd sires are bred to Willingham Spanish nannies, Nubian, LaMacha, Saanen, and Toggenburg milk goats. These crosses range from 1/2 to 7/8 percentages and are outstanding. Kids are produced to be used for show animals and to improve herds. Kidding is twice a year with November kids and March/April kids.

Akbash They are protected from predators by Akbash and Great Pyrenees dogs, donkeys and EMU's. The combination of protectors has proven to be quite successful. Toy Poodles Poodles and Shih Tzu dogs are bred for companionship but contribute little physical protection for goats; however, their audio contributions are invaluable. One big fat cat, Elvis, rounds out the protection system.

Elvis Trial and error has proven to be an excellent teacher in goat production as there are few books available on the production and care of meat goats or show animals for the Texas area. We will be happy to share our knowledge and experiences if you are interested in this type of production. We are delighted to "show and tell" as I have taught public school for the last 27 years and this is a big part of my program. Please call 903-583-3991 or EMAIL me at wkadams@texoma.net email
