Fred Vega, Sr. from Carrizozo NM., Jason Lamb from Dallas, TX., Fred Vega, Jr. from Richardson, TX. and J.L. Lamb from Crosswords, TX. caught some big stripers with guide David Pineda. J.L. caught the Big Fish of the Day, a 16.63 lber.

John Cosby, Kim, Cody & DeWayne Pollard and J.T. Beacham from Alvorado, TX. caught a nice mess of stripers with guide Mike Blakely. J.T. shows the big stiper he caught, a 8.75 lber.

Paul & Carly Mc Whirter from Plano, TX. show two big stripers they caught with with guide Brian Pricard. Michael Ford & Billy Boyles from Drummond, OK. caught a nice mess of big stripers with guide David Pineda.

The Baldwin Press Party fished three boats with each group catching good looking messes. Gary & Deloris Baldwin from Heath, TX and Margaret & Doyle Wade from Lavon, TX. fished with guide Mike Blakely. Robert Gash from Garland, TX., Carolyn Crowley, George and Roberta Wade from Rockwall, TX. fished with guide Roger Hill. Robert and Carolyn show the big stripers they caught. Roberta & George show the big stripers they caught. Blinda & Henry Cranley from Kilgore, TX. fished with guide Brian Prichard. Blinda & Henry show the big stripers they caught. Blinda won the pot for catching the Big Fish of the Day.

Devyn Smock from Plainview, TX., Jennfer Wermers from Bedford, TX., Jackie & Ted Thomas from Dickens, IA. & Cindy & Dale Smock from Plainview, TX. caught a mess of big stripers with guide Roger Hill. The group with the big stripers they caught. Devyn caught a 13.3 lber for runner up honors. Cindy caught the Big Fish of the Day, a 16.8 lber.

Jim Ridgeway from Carnegie, OK. Jim Miles, Jerry Little & Wayne Ray from Weatherford, OK. caught a nice mess of stripers with guide David Pineda.

Roger Hill, Ray Crow, Alan Sullivan and myself went for an early morning trip. We needed a few fish to show at a couple of upcoming sport and tackle shows. Alan caught the first two stripers, both over 10 pounds. Ray had two on that he couldn't turn before he landed an 11+ pound silverside. Then, the big ones came under the boat. Roger landed the 32.25 pound hog after a long fight. The big fish was still laying in the floor of the boat when he got another hit that jerked the rod and reel right out of his hands. The next strike was finally on my rod. I set the hook and broke my tournament series rod in half. We caught and released several more double digit stripers before the sun got TOO HOT for us old guys. We carried the only four stripers we kept for show fish by the Tackle Box and weighed them on their certified scales.
