Welcome to

     Texins Lake Texoma Club

 In 1960, Texas Instruments' Employee Association "Texins" secured a lease on property on Lake Texoma's Preston Point Peninsula to establish the 104 acre complex known today as the Texoma Club.  

The property is located just  75 miles north of Dallas  and  is maintained by a full time manager in residence on site.

Today, the club is open to any current or former employee of Texas Instruments or legacy company (i.e., DSEG/RTIS, MEMC, Anderson, Excel, Liquid Air, or Semiconductor Technology & Instruments. See Rules, Attachment "H".)

Our Mission

The club "exists to promote interest in, develop, and administer a weekend and vacation  recreational facility at Lake Texoma where members and their families can enjoy fully the advantages and benefits of outdoor sports and recreational activities and the association of others of like interest".

Texoma Club Facilities and Services

    Swimming Area (no lifeguard)

    Boating - two launching ramps, two floating docks (boat rental not included)

    Fishing (screened fish-cleaning house

    Horseshoes, volleyball, and softball

    Children's playground

    Pavilion with table seating for 120 people

    Camping - 37 camp sites complete with a concrete table, electricity and water

    Shelters - two fully enclosed (screened windows and door) complete with internal and external lighting, water, picnic table, bbq grill, electrical outlets, and ceiling fans

    Dry boat storage - two stall sizes available on site for boat storage

    Annual activities planned throughout the year.  

Camping - Club members may use the property for camping on one of the 37 property camp sites.  There are a variety of campsites options.  RV trailers, tents sites, air conditioned cabins.  Fees are collected by the resident manager daily. See the Dues and Fees section for pricing.  Campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Reservations are recommended.

Exclusive Campsites

For those desiring year-round accommodations, permanent camp sites (individually held lots) are available.   Normally the rights to exclusive campsites requires the purchase of any existing improvements (cabin, mobile home, septic system, etc.) from the previous occupant of a lot.  See resident manager for details.
