I loved the wildlife program at SOSU. The instructors there are great. Dr. Bryon Clark was my undergraduate advisor and an outstanding professor/researcher. His wife, Dr. Brenda Clark, is a great teacher and researcher as well. SOSU offers many courses that most universities offer only at the graduate level. I feel they have one of the best programs in environmental science available. They work closely with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation. Students get hands-on experience in field work that is just not possible at a larger university. You don't just learn about conservation, you practice it in this department!
