You are invited by Baptist churches in Spain to join them in sharing Jesus with their neighbors, friends and family members in their magnificent country. This is the first campaign for International Crusades to coordinate in Spain. There have been previous efforts by several other organizations and groups since 1973. This is the first of two campaigns to be held in Spain. There will be a nation-wide effort in 2001, from October 21 to 28.
Churches in three areas of Spain – The North, Valencia, and Andalucía – have invited Believers of the World to come join them for a week of Evangelism and outreach. Each church will use the Operation Andrew plan for prayer preparation: every church member will be asked to identify up to ten lost people. Then for three to nine months, that believer will pray for the salvation of those for whom they pray each day. You will be going to a place where the power of the Holy Spirit is expected and being called upon every day!
You will make a difference! There will be people who will hear the gospel and receive the Lord if you go and that may never hear if you do not go. We must respond while the door to Spain is so very open. The Lord is calling…. Won’t you say yes? The Spanish are waiting.... Won’t you go?
Costs
- 150 US$ for planning, hotel, all meals, in-country transportation (additional days for early arrival is $50 per day)
- Airfare is additional (see chart below), based on your departure city
- Passport, incidentals, souvenirs are additional
Important dates
- September 29 – Believers from all over the world will arrive in Madrid and go a charming and comfortable hotel. Welcoming celebration this evening at a church.
- September 30 – All team members will be taken to their assigned churches and introduced to their hosts for the week. A time of fellowship in the church this evening.
- October 1-8 – Church-to-church evangelistic campaign
- Home visits
- Teas and coffees
- Special evangelistic services in the church each day
- Institutional visits (jails, hospitals, old folk’s homes, etc.)
- Other opportunities known only to the Lord
- October 9 – Return to Madrid and the hotel. Report and victory service tonight.
- October 10 – Everyone returns to their home city
