Antowain Smith runs for a healthy -1 points as the Bullets give
their worst performance of the season.

LEAGUE
STANDINGS
|
| It's been an
up and down season for the Oak Cliff Bullets. A team once destined
for greatness (such was the thought after their week one massacre
of the Frisco Flounders). Now, the Bullets are singing the blues after
their lowest point production of the season--getting pistol whipped
by the 9th ranked Sloths (2-3) 89 - 47. Coach Calhoun could not be
reached for comment, but insiders say "...he's about to loose
is cool." It doesn't get any easier for the Bullets, as they
host the #1 ranked Texas Soup Hounds this week in Oak Cliff. |

When to Walk Away... |

Dan the Man...
about to be a Bullet?
|
|
It's happening
again... Sherman (1-4) is holding down the #10 spot just as they
did last season. The difference between now and then? Now, they lead the league in defensive
production, but Coach Nunn is constantly starting the wrong quarterback,
giving their offense an offensive 210 points on the season (league-worst). Is
it time to sell the farm? Nunn has offered Marino out for trade
and it's speculated he is looking to get rid of the best defensive
player in the league, Ray Lewis.

| ...Know
When to Run |
A healthy
running game is proving to be the key to the Hound's success.
|
| Who can can
catch the Soup Hounds? Waterview is trying, but can't quite seem to
hold on to the number one position. Is it coincidence that both teams
have healthy running games? The Hound's Emmit Smith scored a week-high
total for running backs at 12, while the Buffalo's Levens scored 9
points, 3d highest for the week. |

| Close game of
the week honors go to to the Texas Soup Hounds and the AMS Apaches.
The Apaches narrowly won by one point last week, but this week found
themselves on the losing end of fate, falling to the Hounds 86 to
87. (Editorial note: this game was last week's matchup of the week--and
it proved to be correct...) |
