Way back in the days when....AOL had less than 20,000 members....1200
baud was high speed....486 was hard drive space....Envious BBS in New York
was the Number One in the world....CD's were played on your stereo....and....a
WAV was something you surfed.........there was MIDI!!! Hmmm this was just
7 years ago.

Though midi was primitive and did not have the wide appeal as it does
today, it did exist. The Net has brought about a positive proliferation
of Mids sequenced by extremely talented individuals. The one negative aspect
that comes to mind is the lack of the interpersonal communication of the
sequencer with his audience. AOL still afford this opportunity though it
is seldom used. In summary, as the Net expanded, the practice of liner
notes disappeared.

Due to a more than a fair share of E-mail requesting Doc Doc Liner notes,
they have been added. There are some real old midi aficionados or some
real sick individuals out there. The liner notes are identified by the

The custom of liner notes continues for the compositions that have been
composed in recent history. My, how things change, but remain the same.
After reading a few I wonder if I am the mental case. Was I really that
person at one time? <G>

Special Note: Many
of these mids use Contollers 32, 101, 100, 6, Chorus, Reverb, Bends and
SysEx. Some low end sound cards do not recognize these parameters.
