| They spent most
of last season at the top--and now they're back. The short-awaited
return of the Waterview Etc's has turned more than heads--it's turned
the turnstiles as Waterview continues to sell out at home. They played
for first place this week, in NDFW's Matchup of the Week, and won,
thanks to a clutch performance by Tim Biakabutkua. In the words of
Coach Terrell... "Oh, yeah?!" |

Olido Mare
gives the Soup Hounds another close win.
|
|
The Soup Hounds continued to make headlines
by taking down the Allen Aggiecats 77 - 73. The difference in the
game? Texas had Olindo Mare, kicker for the most inept offense in
the AFC, the Miami Dolphins. Mare outscored his Allen counterpart,
Chris Jacke, 12 - 1, giving the Hounds their 3d win of the season.
The Allen Aggiecats
entered the season with grandiose hopes of continuing last year's
late season surge. Now, in 6th place, they're content to be ranked
above the ailing Sherman MNWAFGs. Sherman has new bulletin board
material after Allen's Coach Galdiano called the FGEs "Failing
Generally Expected....." Coach Nunn responded, "because
Galdiano is so concerned over grocery store prices, he should conserve
chickens and just put stray cats (Aggiecats if possible) in every
pot" Lost? Confused? Read http://www.utdallas.edu/~ggaldia/personal.htm.

More Warner's,
please. The Sloth's could use more players like Kurt Warner
|
| The North Dallas
Three-Toed Sloth's didn't ask to have the worst team in the league--it
was just the hand that fate dealt them. The Sloth's may have a chance
this week to notch their second win--they face the unpredictable and
always controversial Oak Cliff Bullets. While Coach Foutz blames
the team's slow start on their aptly named moniker, he still expects
them to "march triumphantly deep into the inner recesses of blatant
mediocrity." |

It By That Much |

| Close game of
the week honors go to AMS and Palm Beach. Steve Carson missed his
second win by one point, losing to Bob Saenz 60-59. I'd like to give
this one more coverage, but I'm too tired. |
