Not even
Favre could help the Waterbuffaloes in week 1

LEAGUE
STANDINGS
|
| Last year, the
Waterview
and General Richardson Area Waterbuffaloes were near the top of
the league the entire season. But in the first week of this season,
they suffered their biggest upset in two years--a loss to the lowly
Sherman
FGEs (formerly the Sherman Win-A-Phobes). The FGEs took the win
by replacing last season's QB, Jeff George, with Randall Cunningham.
Last week, a balanced attack (43 offensive points and a league-best
37 defensive points) helped push them past the Waterbuffaloes.

Aikman throws
5 TDs for the Soup Hounds
|
|
The Texas
Soup Hounds rang in the new season with a 106-57 drumming of
the Palm
Beach Hurricanes. Led by Troy Aikman's career performance, the
Soup Hounds pulled in a whopping 86 offensive points, which led
the National Weather Service to downgrade the Hurricanes to the
Palm Beach Light and Variable Winds. Coach English, better known
for his horrific PlayStation moves, made the right ones this week
to get the win. The Soup Hounds will face the FGEs in week two.

| The
Usual Suspects |
The
Lance Armstrongs bite the dust
|
|
Is it fair
for a team, any team, to start off the season with a bye-week?
That's exacty what the Aggiecats
did when they hosted the terminally ill Austin
Lance Armstrongs this week in Allen. Austin scored a paltry
5 points on defense, giving Allen a week one win to continue in
last season's winning ways.
Also carrying
on their winning tradition were the Calhoun-led Oak
Cliff Bullets. After doubling-up John Turnpaugh's Frisco
Flounders in week one, the Bullets look ahead to week 3 against
the FGEs. Oak Cliff will enjoy a bye week in week 2 when they travel
to the capitol to face the Austin Lance Armstrongs--not even chemotherapy
will stop them from enjoying a 2-0 record.
