| I assume we are not talking about stealing,
murder, slander, gossip, envy, sloth (my big one) etc. It is to be hoped
that you all know by the examples taught by us, if not me then your mother.
In every birth of your children, there was no thought as to give your them up for adoption, abortion, or abandoning them. You have shown love a tolerance (well most of the time). Hence, you know the differences between right and wrong, but have a problem making the best choices for you and your family…. I welcome you to life. We all face this. Is this the right job, is this the right partner, is this the right city to move to......? I am bout to show you one of my faults. I not am going to give a straight answer to what you asked, although your question is very straightforward. I believe I heard a long time ago how do I get through life without any mistakes. You don’t. You do the best you can. Prayer is very helpful along with some simple guidelines. 1. Will the choice affect my relationship with my God negatively? 2. Will the choice affect the relationship with my family negatively? 3. Will the choice affect the relationship with my fellow man negatively? 4. Will this harm others.? If the answer is yes to any of these, you need to be sure of your choice. Pray, ask your God to help you and guide you. Then enthusiastically travel down the path. This is not to say all will be a wonderful paradise. You get what you sow. I do not adhere to these 100% of the time, but have found these useful. Love you, Dad |
