| This is a typical question asked by all three
of you. Can’t you see that by asking the question you have grown? There
was a gentleman in the Bible that struggled with the same question. He
knew the correct or best things to do, but chose another way (on some occasions).
No one is perfect and we all give in from time to our selfishness. This
is OK, as long as it does not harm us or others. David went a little too
far with Basheba, in my opinion. However, with all that, he was a man after
God’s Heart.
Believe me, I have had my share of wrongs and will continue for as long as I live. It is my hope, as I mature, something will happen to me inside (which has happened to others) that will give me the desire to take the best path. The dilemma for me is not doing the bad things. I think what I do is settle for second best and not the best. I become disenchanted, and feel as though I have done wrong. At least this is the way it is for me. I don't know about you, but I am lazy, I prefer the easy way. If it is soft and no trouble or effort I take that path. I still stand by the Principle of Being Kind To Your Fellow Man. This includes yourself. Love you, Dad |
