Late Prehistoric

Known to many collectors as 'bird points', these projectile points tipped the arrows that were shot from bows, making these the only true arrowheads. The Late Prehistoric period extended from about 1200 to 400 years ago, and is known as the Mississipian Period in other parts of the country. Once eroded into the waterways, few Late Prehistoric points survive unscathed.

I'm unsure of their time frame in Texas, but I think they may be
French in origin, which would make them about 200 to 250 years old.
