Class of '81:
Can it really be two decades since we walked across the stage and Mr. Ashmore gave us our
diplomas? Are we really close to the big 4-0? Do some of us have kids now in
Bonham High School? Have many of us have lost our hair but made up for it with
weight gain?
If the answer to all these questions is yes,
then it must be time for the ole' 20-year High School reunion. Yes, that time when
we feverishly look for our Coushattas to try to remember forgotten classmates before
possible embarrassment; try to impress our spouses by remembering the school song
and end up mumbling most of it; and try to remember which side of the square was the
"cool side".
Our dedicated planning committee consisting of Lynette (Howell) Lackey, Jim Bono, Melanie
(Caldwell) Quinn, Susan (Flowers) Toland and Richey (Mop) Rivers have planned a gala event
at the Bonham Golf Club on June 23 to commemorate this milestone. A fun-filled
afternoon and evening of seeing old friends and teachers and making up details on your
most illustrious accomplishments in high school is guaranteed. This will be a
perfect time to discuss that disputed final exam grade with your former teachers or fan
the flame on that old high school romance.
So don't delay, registration is limited to
the first 120 classmates, plus spouses/significant others. Simply fill out the registration form on this website and mail it in. I look
forward to seeing you there.
