I work at Northeast Medical CenterIn my own words: I work as the Business Office Manager for Northeast Medical Center Home Health. My kids are both in High School, Mitch a Senior and Mallory a Freshman. Raising teenagers has its challenges, but finally they are turning into real people. They have been the joy of my life. I am basically a newlywed, married to Mike Penix for one year (ok, ok, he wasn't my first husband, but he is my favorite) I can't wait to see all of you in June.
Memories of BHS: WOW! Memories of good ol' Bonhi... Pep rallies, football games, Mrs. Phillips, Mr. Shockley (Did you know they STILL teach there?) My kids go to Bonhi now, so I do have occasion to be there once in a while. That Kiva has SHRUNK! Seems like it was the biggest room I had ever seen when we took the tour of High School as 8th graders. In fact, the whole school has gotten smaller, (or I suppose I just got bigger...and bigger...and bigger). Thank goodness my husband prefers a 'sturdy woman'.

Dean has been the president of the local youth league for the past four years so we're really involved in that. (That's really not an honor, he's the only one crazy enough to take it!)

In my own words: I graduated from ETSU in 1984 with my Bachelor's. I taught school for 3 years. (Jan. 1985 - May 1987) & then retired, only to go back later. I got married in Jan. 1987 & divorced in Feb. 1992. I went back to teaching the yr I got divorced. A girl's got to make a living!!!! This year I received my "10 yr pin" with BISD. Can you believe it????
I am a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Commerce. The Lord has not only blessed me with a wonderful pastor & church, but also with a nice home & a good neighbors. If it weren't for the Lord, where would I be????
About 6 yrs ago, my mom & dad helped me find my birth family. I have met several of my family members. I have 5 brothers, including Richard & 4 sisters. I flew to Hawaii to meet one of my younger sisters. I stayed with her for 3 weeks. I have also visited Nebraska & Colorado, to meet family. I have found that I love to travel. I have not been everywhere I'd like to go, but there is still time. I would love to take a trip to Mexico!!!! Give me a map & some money & turn me loose!!!!! You never know where I will turn up!!! I work for Grayson County as the County Auditor (a lousy name for Chief Financial Officer of the County)In my own words: Oh, the tales I could tell. Actually, I've led a rather ordinary life since high school. Started Grayson College and graduated from there. Finished the final 2 years at Baylor with an accounting degree. Became a CPA (and still am one). Married Sylvia in 1988. Worked in industry and public accounting for a few years. Began working in local government in 1993 and it's a great job. We do all the regular family stuff: piano lessons, ballet, soccer, and snow ski (in season). Our 3rd child is a little Bichon Frise named Puccini (or Pooch, for short). On sunny days, I drive a restored '64 Chevelle convertible. yeeeeeehaaaaaaw! I also piddle with a few website of my own creation. Like this one.
Memories of BHS: Could there have been a worse football team than the 1979 and 1980 Bonham Purple Warriors? Hey, Juan Sewell, it's time to fess up to writing on the desk in Mrs. Phillips class. And who was in charge of stealing the plants from Mrs. Houston's library......certainly not me, Epley. And wasn't it Phillip Hodge that brought the live armadillo to school one day....or was it Kelly Mendenhall? Double on the main.
