Wally Williams

Rev. Williams has been an ordained minister for about twenty-one years. Rev. Williams said that he has a very good job and it is really fun. There was a bad tornado that hit Jerell Texas, and he and his church group took some can goods to help the people that lost everything in the bad storm. He said that was alot of fun. We asked Rev. Williams how he became a minister, and he said that he first wanted to be a minister when he was in college. He wasn't in college to become a preacher though, he was trying to be in the forestry. But he felt that God was trying to tell him to be a minister. Mr. Wally thought and prayed about it and decided to become a minister. Mr. Williams has been a very good leader in our community for a good four years. Mr. Wally said, it is important to focus on the community. He said, a community leader"walks" and "talks" to the people in the community. He also mentioned that a leader is person that serves the community. Mr. Williams has been a very good help to our community.
